Nathaniel "Bo" Hopkins, age 64, a lifetime Atoka, OK resident was born on Monday, April 18, 1949, to Lennie and Ester (Austin) Hopkins, in Atoka, OK. Nathaniel passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Atoka, OK. He graduated Atoka High School in 1968. Nathaniel worked a few years at the Savannah Army Depot and the past several years doing yard work and gardening. Nathaniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and received National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal W/2 Campaign Stars; Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 device; 2 Overseas Bars; M-14 Sharpshooter; and M-16 Marksman. Nathaniel was a Methodist and love to fish and hunt. Nathaniel is preceded in death by his parents, Lennie and Ester (Austin) Hopkins and daughter, Ruth Hopkins.
