Lillie M. Causey, age 58

Mrs. Lillie M. Causey was born January 30, 1954, to the late Geneva Dolton and Benjamin Barnes. She moved with her family from Detroit, Michigan to Huntsville, Alabama in 1980. She departed this life, Monday, October 29, 2012.
Lillie was a member of the House of God in Detroit, Michigan, where she joined at the age of 19. Her spiritual father in the Lord was Bishop William Benson. Later she became a member of the Spirit of Light Church and the Word of God Holiness Church in Athens, Alabama. There she was under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Joseph Parker, Pastor Joe Hines, and Pastor Frank Leonard.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Paul Causey; three children, Paul L. Causey, Christopher L. Causey, and Sanquanette L. Hawthorne, and husband, David; two grandchildren, Je'von Causey and David Benjamin Hawthorne II; sister, Carolyn Dolton, and husband, Fred Wall of Detroit, Michigan; two brothers, Robert Dolton and Charles Dolton and wife, Latonya all of Detroit, Michigan; uncle, Charles Haggert of Huntsville, Alabama; nine nieces and nephews, Lakina Dolton, Kelvin Dolton, Tina Dolton, Dominque Dolton, Breanna Webster, Alexis Barbee, Michael Dolton, Jalen Barbee, and Charles Dolton, Jr., seven great nieces and great-nephews, and a host of relatives, and dear friends.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Royal Chapel of Memories with Pastor Frank Leonard officiating; interment followed at Madison Memory Gardens, in the City of Madison.
