Jeanne Blanche Clothilde Moledoux, was the daughter of Edmond and Blanche Dumestre Moledoux. She married Captain Wallace E. Durst in her home town of New Orleans, Louisiana on July 18,1918. They became parents to two children: John Edmond Durst, born in New Orleans and Rita Kathryn Durst, born in Norfolk, Virginia. Wallace moved around quite a bit because of his career as an officer in the U.S. Army. Jeanne contracted tuberculosis and eventually died from that disease at the family home on the Fitzsimmons Army Base near Aurora, Colorado. Their children were only 4 and 2 at the time of her death. Her body was removed to the family grave plot in New Orleans, Louisiana for burial.
