David, 55, of Eaton Rapids, passed away January 31, 2012. He was the son of David and Della (George) Abood.

David worked as a regional housing manager for the Lansing housing commission. He was very loyal and hard working. David was a drill instructor in the U.S. Maine Corps for 5 years. He was an avid tennis player. David was a loving a dedicated father and enjoyed spending time with his family.

David is survived by his wife, Alicia Kim (Browning) Abood of Eaton Rapids; daughter, Kamilah Jean Abood of Eaton Rapids; sons, Bruce Adam (Heidi) Abood of Lansing, Zachary David (Gina) Abood of Eaton Rapids; grandchild, Eden Faith Abood of Lansing; father, David Abood of Eaton Rapids; brother, Daniel Joseph Abood of N.E; many nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Jean Abood in 2008.

Funeral services were Saturday February 4, 2012 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Lansing, MI. Father Mark Sietsema will officiate. Burial took place Saturday.
