A Poem written for Michael, by Donna Marie Pethel Beem at his funeral

❤My True Love❤

Like the beginning of a day,
The morning light shines through,
Brightening the world,
And so did you.

I was traveling along the path of life,
And God brought us together,
And I happily became your wife.

I often prayed, God ..send me someone who
Would look at me and not run!

You were a sunshine glow,
Turning my world into a rainbow!

Michael, a name like an Angel above,
My Knight in Shining Armor,
My dream- Michael John Beem.

His sweet smile cheered me so,
His dimples so cute,
Tickled me head to toe.

He loved the Lord,
Serving in His House,
And I was happy to be his spouse.

He could cook the best scrambled eggs,
Or scout stew..
Which my Mom and I always looked forward to.

He loved gardening, planting marigolds,
Enjoying seeing flowers grow.
And doing yard work, He was my Hero.

He would help take care for my Dad when he had a stroke,
And Mom was ill
I was so grateful for his helping hand,
He was my Super Man!

He was so comforting through thick and thin,
He was my devoted loving husband,
Forever friend.

He enjoyed origami,crafts, puzzles,
And singing for the Lord.
He was the man I adored!

Just like a big teddy bear,
Enveloping me with lots of kisses and hugs,
He lit up my life for many than twenty a year.

He also enjoyed his little four-legged baby,
That cheered him up-our dachsund Daisy.
He loved watching the birds and hear them sing.
Looking at the moon and stars in the sky,
Such a delight to the ear and eye.

But as time went along..like a little bird,
With a broken wing,
He could no longer sing.

My heart full of sorrow,
I feared what pain he'd endure,
With each tomorrow.

I knew our Heavenly Father would set him free,
Of this misery.
My Angel, Michael, was called above,
Into God's Heaven of Love.

Now he's flying happily,
Singing, laughing, being with Jesus,
Friends and family.

My true Love,
I'll miss you every day,
Until we meet again, your always in my heart,
Never to depart.

Love, eternally,

Your wife,
Donna
