Julia Elizabeth Baker Mantooth, age 90, of Lindsay, Ok passed away in Maysville, Ok Nov 1, 2001. She was born at Rosedale, Ok March 2, 1911. She was proceeded in her death by her husband, Sam Columbus Mantooth, they were married in 1926 in Lindsay.

Julia was a homemaker and mother. She lived in Lindsay most of her life and belonged to the First Christian Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and gardening, tending her chickens and cooking.

She is survived by her grandsons Richard, Joe and David Mantooth, Sammy. Steven and Jan Howard. Also by 11 g-grandchildren and 2 gg-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by one son, Jody Mantooth Feb 16, 1992, one daughter Wanda Louise Mantooth Howard in March 2001 and one grandson Donnell Eugene Howard.

Funeral arrangements were with B.G. Boydston Funeral home of Lindsay. A grave side service was held in Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov 5, 2001.
