She was born to Dale and Opal Jones Clouse. On Dec. 19, 1954, she married James Edward Acheson, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Douglas, Lebanon, Ind.; three daughters, Christine (David) Marshall, Savannah, Ga., Pamela (Al) Heims, Middlebury, Ind., and Melissa (Patrick) Ryan, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; a sister, Beverly (Robert) Baird, Youngstown; and 12 grandchildren.
She was former manager of Light World and a realtor, both in Fort Wayne. She was retired as the managing broker for Cressy and Everett Realty Co., Elkhart and South Bend, Ind. She graduated from Willshire High School and attended International Business College of Fort Wayne. She attended Faith United Methodist Church and was a member of the Overseas Missionary.
Services were at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, the Revs. Larry Kurtz and Warren and Velma Hardig officiating.
