Mildred N. Kiser DePreste, age 92, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 in Maranatha Village. She was born April 9, 1919, in Springfield, Mo., to Maynard and Laura Kiser.
She was a member of the Central Assembly Of God Church, since 1946. Her greatest joy in life was serving the Lord and loving her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vic in 1994; two sisters, Edna Wilcox and Alma Payne; and her six brothers, John, Art, Alfred, Don, Perry, and Max.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cathy Langguth (Steve) of Springfield, Mo. and Nancy Dalton, Fort Myers, Fl; seven grandchildren, Angela Massing, Jared Huddleston, Caitlin and Scott Dalton, Marissa, Natalie, and Jensyn Langguth; and five great-grandchildren, Caiden, Draike, and Amarah Huddleston and Myka and Kirra Massing.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Maranatha Chapel, Springfield with Rev. Elizabeth Tinlin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour before services from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. also on Saturday, May 21, 2011 in Maranatha Chapel.
