Arthur Alden Bailey, 73, died at his home on Cochran Hill Road in North Wolcott, Vermont. He was a retired dairy farmer. His wife, Charlotte, survived him until her death in Hyde Park, Vermont, in 2008.
He was the son of Ernest B. and Addie M. (Clark) Bailey. Brother of Mildred Gates and Howard B. Bailey. He married Charlotte Mae (Wells) on Sep. 23, 1928 in Craftsbury, Vermont. They were the parents of ten children: Vivian Berdina; Morton Keith; Garth Lee; Duane Wesley; Carole Fern; Bertha Alice; Brian Alden; Lois Germaine (Bailey) Tallman; and two who predeceased him, an infant daughter, Joyce Barbara Bailey; and a young son, Arthur Alden Bailey, Jr.
