LEWIS F. KREBS, GLENVILLE, EXPIRES FOLLOWING STROKE
Glenville, August 24 – Lewis F. Krebs, aged 72 years, three months and nine days, a farmer, residing here, died suddenly at 10:45 o'clock last night following a stroke of apoplexy. Mr. Krebs had worked on his farm until 7 o'clock in the evening. Dr. W. D. Danner, of Spring Grove, who had been called, arrived too late to be of medical assistance. Dr. Danner, in turn called the coroner, Dr. L. U. Zech, who issued the necessary death certificate.
The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Catherine Heindel Krebs, and the following children: Mrs. Lewis Kerr, Brodbeck; Mrs. Amott Rohrbaugh, Hanover; Mrs. Robert Markel, Glen Rock RD; Mrs. Irvin Black, Williamsport; Mrs. Luther Rinehart, Glen Rock RD; Lewis Krebs and Mrs. Silas Rohrbaugh, Hanover; two brothers, William F. and John F. Krebs, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Krebs, all of Glenville.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m., with brief services at the home and concluding services in the Stone Church. Rev. W. H. Ehrhart, pastor of the Jefferson Lutheran charge, will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining Stone Church. G. W. Geiple and Son, funeral directors of Glen Rock, will be in charge.
