Susan was the cherished daughter of Anthony and Theresa.Susan's own daughter was named after her mother.Adored sister of Kathy, John, Kevin and Jimmy.Beloved mother of Theresa Lynn Mangiapia.
When Theresa was little she told me all kinds of wonderful stories about her mother and the things they enjoyed together.My daughters and I made her a photo album of all the pictures of Theresa and her mother enjoying these things.
Susan enjoyed the country and had a real love of animals,just as Theresa has.There were her two dogs Hunter and Gunner and her sweet little group of Kittens.She was an avid reader and could finish a book in a day.
Susan's sister Kathy told me "Susan was a sweet and completely unselfish person with a huge heart and was taken from us to early. God has a plan.I remember our phone conversations and how she absolutely glowed about Theresa."
Other people who knew Sue told me she was a very sweet,kind,gentle person and helped whoever she could.She was a very humble person and never wanted to be the center of attention.
She unselfishly took care of Theresa's Great-Grandmother when she was very ill and dying.Everyday she would show up in the morning to bath,dress,feed,give her her medications and spend the day with a lonely old woman.
Susan's greatest legacy though is her daughter Theresa.Theresa is very tiny just like her mother, but do not let size kid you.Theresa possesses an inner strength of character that her mother Susan had. Even at a young age Theresa loved to read,write and draw. She has written some very lovely poems about her Mom which will be published on this sight.Like Susan, Theresa has a great joy of life, is funny,smart,witty and a little dynamo.
Susan became a Grandmother on January 22,2008.I am sure she met her grandson in paradise before he came down to earth.As her mother before her ,Theresa is a wonderful mother and her son is her world. Susan was a Christian and read the Bible often.Susan did have sadness in her life, but her faith sustained her. She had great Faith in Jesus and taught this to others, and especially her daughter.I am sure the first words that Susan heard in Paradise was "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant".
