U.S. Veteran C. D. Alcorn, age 86, died Sunday December 20, 2015 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.

Born May 14, 1929 in Crowder, Missouri, son of the late Ellis and Wrista (Fulkerson) Alcorn, he was a member of Morley Baptist Church.

Mr. Alcorn was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Airman Second Class; and was a self employed real estate agent, having been owner and operator of C.D. Alcorn Agency from 1953 to 2012.

On June 29, 1947, in Osceola, Arkansas he married Mary Ann (Walker) Alcorn; she preceded him in death February 14, 2009.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Denny & Kim Alcorn of Morley; two grandsons, Cody Alcorn of Greenville, South Carolina and Trey Alcorn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Kinley Alcorn of Morley; one great grandson, Trevor Cole Alcorn of Oklahoma City; and a very special friend and mother of Cody and Trey Alcorn, Mary Lynn Alcorn of Sikeston.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 23, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon at Morley Baptist Church. The Rev. David Thompson, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Alcorn, Mike McDonald, Brian Taylor, Paul Taylor, Trey Alcorn and Cody Alcorn.
