He would go on to appear in over thirty films, with roles in "A Guy Named Joe" (1943), "Song of the Thin Man" (1947), "The Walking Hills" (1949), "The Texas Rangers" (1951), "The Raiders" (1952), "Short Cut to Hell" (1957) and "The Oregon Trail" (1959). In 1954 he co-starred in the television series "It's a Great Life." He died of cancer.
