MARY SUE PHILLIPS, 80, passed away Friday April 18, 2014 at the Harrison County Hospital. She was the former Mary Sue Shinlever, born in Knoxville, TN. and was the Cook at Vic's Café for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Phillips Sr., her parents: George and Ola Shinlever, and her brothers Charles and Kenneth Shinlever.
Survivors include:3 Sons:Jesse Phillips Jr. (Gloria),David Phillips, Michael Phillips, 3 Daughters:Brenda Sue Graf(Paul Peas), Nora Lyninger, Carolyn Yeager, Her sister:Dorothy Helton, 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating Mary Sue's life will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville (1846 E. Oak St.) with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 PM Monday.
