DENNIS, MR. MACK, JR., age 73, a lifetime resident of Kimberly, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. He retired in 1994 after working as Lead Supervisor for UAB for 23 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Mack Dennis, Sr.; three brothers, Alton, T.M. and Louie Dennis; and sister, Louise Adams. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, son, granddaughter, two sisters, Edna Carroll of Warrior and Ella Mae Crane of Kimberly; and several nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thanks to New Beacon Hospice for their "loving care". Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Morris Cemetery. Rev. Bill Martin officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
