RCAF-Pilot WWII

It's with great sadness that we said goodbye to a loving father and grandfather on Monday May 27, 2013 at Kingston General Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Vernon Richardson. Survived by his daughters Nancy Raven (Jim), Joanne Bush (Greg), Patty Aird (Peter Hegarty) and grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael Raven, Lauren and David Bush.

Bill was born in Montreal and had a rewarding career as a Chartered Accountant. He made frequent trips to Hudson, Quebec to spend time with his parents and siblings. He and Dorothy retired to Kingston in 1987 where they enjoyed golf, gardening, and new friends.

Bill was a proud member of the LaSalle High School Adult Band where he played trumpet and provided comic relief.

Many thanks to Dr. Nick Cristoveanu and the kind staff at both Fairfield Manor East and KGH.

Memorial Service to be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Barriefield on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Hudson, Quebec, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the U.H.K.F-KGH would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home-Central Chapel, 49 Colborne Street, Kingston. 613-546-5454.
