Lee Orie (Pug) was the son of Charles Estes Henson and Era SHOOK Henson. He married Hallie Wilcox 1929 in Charleston, Tallahatchie, Mississippi. They had one daughter, Dorothy Louise. Pug and Hallie divorced.
Lee O. married Janie NEWTON James, June 6, 1936 in Sumner, Tallahatchie County, Ms. Pug or 'Pop' was a wonderful father to Janie's two daughters, Bea and Doll. He was also a wonderful grandfather and we all loved him dearly.

He served in WWII for three and half years, and always loved and was proud of his country. He was a member of the VFW from 1945 until he died in 1981.
