Elizabeth Johnson married Russell Jones Howell ca 1837 (probably Yalobusha County) Mississippi. They lived near Big Creek; first Yalobusha County, then Calhoun County, and had ten children; Six boys and four girls including my great grandmother Martha who married Andrew Jackson Newton.
Elizabeth is my 2nd great grandmother.

(Ancestry.com) Elizabeth's parents are George Washington Johnson, Jr. and Sarah Barron.

(From Lynn Kutina)
"Elizabeth Johnson's father was Minor William Johnson. Her grandfather was Minor Winn Smith Johnson.
"The inscription on Elizabeth's Tombstone reads as follows:
'MUST GO AND LEAVE YOU HERE BEHIND, MAY JESUS TOUCH YOUR SOULS TO REIGN WITHIN LASTING PEACE.'"

HELP...Can anyone tell me which Father is right or are both wrong?
