Wanda Sue was the daughter of Willard A.C. and Dovie Ella READ Newton. She married Edward E. Dodd right out of high school and was blessed with four children; Ed Newton, Douglas, Judy and Pam. She fought cancer for three years before succumbing to it. She left behind her parents, her children, grandchildren and one brother, Willard Read Newton.
She lived in Webb, Tallahatchie County, Mississippi all her life and was working as town clerk when she got sick. She was a beautiful and sweet girl and everyone loved her. She was also my first cousin, but some years younger.
