Angela Mary Lacirignola was born in the "Hell's Kitchen" section of Manhattan in 1916 to Italian immigrants, Amalia Cocco and Vito Lacirignola. Her father worked for Gund Stuffed Toys and then Ace Toy Factory and her mother worked in a candy factory. She had two brothers Alfonso, who died in infancy, and Joseph Laciano, who changed the family name to Laciano as many people could not pronounce Lacirignola.

Growing up she had three best friends, the Gallagher sisters: Catherine, Eleanor and Dotty. They remained lifelong friends.

When she left school, she worked at Decca Records where she sat in a booth and listened to the records to be sure they were perfect before being packaged and distributed for sale. As a result she knew every word of every song that company produced.

While attending a party for someone who was drafted into the Army during World War II, she met Buddy Beyer, who lived on the same block although they had never met. They were married 10 months later on April 25, 1943 at St. Ambrose RC Church on West 54th Street in New York City.

On their honeymoon, Buddy received his draft notice. While he was serving in the South Pacific, Angie gave birth to Edward Joseph Beyer on February 21, 1944. Buddy returned from the war in June of 1945. They had two more children, Carole born in 1946 and Susan born in 1951. Angie worked as an usherette in Broadway theatres which were close to where she lived.

In 1972, Angie and Buddy moved to the Riverdale section of the Bronx, after having lived in Manhattan their entire lives. In addition, she and Buddy maintained a vacation home in Gloversville in Upstate New York where some of their friends had moved when Decca Records relocated their plant there.

Angie always loved animals and always had a pet dog and cats. Her favorite dog of 15 years was a collie/lab mix named Lucky Boy. At the time of her death she had a cocker spaniel named Brandy.
She loved her soap operas and was an avid crossword puzzler. She loved her grand daughter, Mary Hedwig Beyer, who was born in 1971 to her son, Eddie and his wife Nancy DeRienzo Beyer.
Angie died of lung cancer at Montefiore Hospital in September 1975 in Bronx, NY.
