Jennie Andriolo, 75, died Saturday at her home near Three Forks.

She was born December 21, 1916, to Peter J. and Kate Verwolf in Manhattan.

She was raised and educated in Bozeman. After her graduation from high school, she married Joseph Andriolo on July 3, 1936, in Bozeman. They made their home in Manhattan a short time before moving to Trident. Joe worked as an electrician for Ideal Cement and Jennie was the postmaster. She also worked for the post office in Three Forks. In 1980, they moved to their home on the Jefferson River near Three Forks.

She was a member of the Rebekahs, Gallatin County Council on Aging, Bozeman Toastmasters, the Legacy Legislature and was a former board member of the Headwaters Golf Course. She was instrumental in the formation of the senior citizens groups in Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan and Three Forks, where she was a past president. She was chairman of the committee that established the Headwaters State Park and was involved with the Mosquito Control District. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society and the prayer group.

She was preceded in death by her husband on January 10, 1986.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Richard and Sharon Andriolo of Bozeman, and Michael and Diana Andriolo of Kalispell; a daughter, Norma Jean Andriolo of Helena; a brother, Joe P. Verwolf of Manhattan; two sisters, Gertrude Wieringa of Oregon, and Betty Verwolf of California; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Three Forks on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. John Ward officiating. Vigil services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m., at K&L Mortuaries Chapel in Three Forks. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Three Forks.

Memorials are preferred to the Three Forks Senior Citizens or to a senior citizens group of the donors' choice.
