Death of Mrs. E.V. Cooke
Mrs. W.K. Weber received a telegram this morning announcing the death of her sister, Mrs. E.V. Cooke, yesterday evening at 5:20 o'clock at a hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Mrs. Cooke was the eldest daughter of J.W. Shouse of this city, and was born in Johnson County, May 14, 1883. She was married to Mr. Cooke in June 1913. Mrs. Cooke formerly taught in the public schools of this city.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mary Virginia, two years old; three brothers, Ewing, now in the navy, Eugent, with the army in France, and William Shouse; two sisters, Mrs. W.K. Weber of this city, and Mrs. Milton Mansfield of Washington.
Mr. Shouse left yesterday for Twin Falls, on receipt of a telegram announcing her critical illness.
