Son of the late Vaden W. and Ethel H. Bordeaux, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wilton Bordeaux, Donald Bordeaux and Karl Bordeaux; sister, Charlotte Bordeaux. He was a graduate (1964) of Carolina Miliatry Academy. He was an electrical contractor for 39 years. He was survived by his wife of 44 years, Anna Rhea Kelly Bordeaux; son, Steven R. Bordeaux; daughter, Joy B. Garner (Anthony); five grandchildren, Megan E. Bordeaux, Lauren L. Bordeaux, Alexandria "Lexi" B. Bordeaux, Kristen E. Garner and Carson P. Garner; brother, Joe Bordeaux (Agnes); sister-in-law, Evelyn Bordeaux; and an extended family of relatives and "his devoted dog, Darbee." His funeral was held on April 11, 2011, at Flat Springs Baptist Church.
