Louisa Jane Bray (1879-1912), Eli Smith Dykes (1880-1919), John Sam Dykes (1883-1936), William Thomas Dykes (1885-1961), Jesse Oliver Dykes (1887-1954), Mary Elizabeth Woodall (1889-1925), Nellie Francis Woodall (1890-1965), Silas Green Dykes (1891-1953), and Hannah M. Burdine (1893-1963).

He married Mary Miller on July 9, 1907 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. They later divorced.
