Services for Linda Rose McGee Allgood of Brookhaven are 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, Sept. 8, from 3-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allgood, 60, died Sept. 6, 2000, of brain cancer at Haven Hall Nursing Home. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 5, 1939, to Joe S. McGee and Edna Callender McGee.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death was her father.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Clyde N. Allgood Jr. of Brookhaven; her sons, Tony Allgood of Dayton, Ohio, and Kirk Allgood of Kettering, Ohio; her sister, Ann Case of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
