Final rites for George W. Bacot, 76, retired banker and feed and seed store owner in Clinton, Kentucky, were held today at 10 a.m. from Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Easthaven Cemetery. The Reve. Leroy Tubbs officiated at the rites. Mr. Bacot died Saturday at his residence in Clinton.
A native Lincoln Countian, Mr. Bacot had made his home in Clinton since 1924. He was a veteran of World War I and a graduate of Mississippi State University.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Myra Townsend, Brookhaven, Mrs. Clifton Burns, of Ruth. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
