Barry is survived by a devoted family. His spouse of 23 years, Connie Moran; sons, Brian Akins of Fort Pierce and Wade Akins of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Pam Akins of Potsdam, NY, Michelle Moran-Victor and Heather Moran both of Port St. Lucie; a sister, Terri Akins-Rodia of Ocala, FL, 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with Full Military Honors and burial will be held at South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL on Monday, 9-10-07 at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial offerings in memory of Barry to: Treasure Coast Hospices Foundation, 772-465-0660.
