Funeral services for Mrs. Emma S. Ahrens of 1141 1/2 E. Second St. were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Christ Lutheran church with the pastor, Rev. H. Bielenberg, officiating. During the services, he read, "Abide With Me." The services were preceded by a short prayer service conducted at 2 p.m. in the family home. Interment was in Grove Hill cemetery with the following pallbearers: Kenneth and Oscar Bodamer, Jr., Arnold Osterman, Edward Karg, James Kennedy and Robert Herman.
