He was born Oct. 3, 1918, in Sheffield, the son of Ernest F. and Cecelia Carlson Anundson.
He was a veteran of World War II, and was employed in general construction from 1945 to 1980 and resumed operation of Anundson Memorials. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, where he served on various boards and councils. He was a member of the Sheffield Township and Warren County school boards, the Sheffield Cemetery Association and SARA. He flew 31 bombing missions and delivered gas to Gen. George Patton behind enemy lines. He enjoyed golf and home improvements.
He is survived by his wife, F. Lorraine Chalman Anundson, whom he married Oct. 28, 1944, in Mobile, Ala.; a son, James Anundson of Corry; three daughters: Elizabeth Watts of Warren, Sandra C. Lindberg of Sheffield and Irene C. Anundson-Pointon of Edgemoor, S.C.; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Louise Thompson of Sarasota, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally L. Anundson; three sisters: Gladys Laney, Alma Smith and Alphida Howe; and a brother, Loraine T. Anundson.
