Lawyers are searching in Kansas City and Jackson County for descendants of William Ball, a relative of George Washington. Ball died in Philadelphia in 1740 leaving a estate worth today. a good many millions. The lawyers say the descendants will soon come into possession of the property and divide it among themselves. There is a complicated story why the division was not made before this time. The descendants here so far are Christiana Merritt, George R. Frisbee, E.D. Halderman and Ann Bollin and Juliette Bollin of Carroll County.

William Ball's Will b. 12 Sept. 1686 Devonshire, England d. 4 Sept. 1809 Philadelphia. Married: Mary White.
