George was the son of Arthur and Grace (Winterbottom)Hulley. He came to America in 1823 and settled in Indiana. He married Hannah (Anna)Whitehead in England and they had nine children, all born before he immigrated to the United Stated. Most of their children also immigrated with them and most of the Hulley's in Indiana can track their ancestors through this line.
