James Albert Barna, 77 of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township, died on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel St., Avenel. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Gerrad, Pa., Mr. Barna resided in Avenel for the past 40 years.
Before retiring, he owned and operated Middlesex Armature in Colonia for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene Pearson Barna; two daughters, Joyce Volk of Monmouth Junction and Janice Barna of Avenel, and two grandchildren, Jessica Layton and Ryan Layton.
