This biography represents the hundreds of Original Anishnawbek who remain interned in this location. By 1898, the cemetery was full and internments were made on top of each other. This is the same year, Father Weikamp purchased two acres of land just north of the village. Some souls were moved but hundreds remain at this location.

They exist still, in our memories, in some remaining historical documents, and are alive in our minds. Our Ancestors have asked to be remembered. By doing so, we honor them.
