HARTS, W.Va. — Mr. Naaman Adams, 80, of Harts, was born March 3, 1929, at Harts, a son of the late Harve and Emma Mullins Adams. He departed this life Friday, October 16, 2009, at CAMC Memorial Division at Charleston.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Eloise Adams on October 24, 1991; one grandson, Christopher Lee Adkins in 2000; two brothers, Lewis and Eustice Adams, eight sisters, Jennie Hall, Dentis Mullins, Hazel Smith, Elaine Bevino, Jane Mullins, Sally Mullins, Ethel Adams and Eunice Adams

Mr. Adams was a retired construction worker, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Koran Conflict and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Curtis (Betty) Adams of Harts; one brother, George (Charlotte) Adams of Ravenswood; one grandson, Matthew Curtis Adkins; one sister-in-law, Von (Alfred) Tomblin of Harts; two brothers-in-law, Junior Bevino of Columbus, Ohio, and James "Jim" Farley of Harts; special family members and friends, Gaie Adams, Ronald Mullins and family, Roger Mullins and family, Kenneth Ray Farley and family, Dale Adams, Dallas Adams and family, George Clinton Adams and family, Freeman Adams and family, Frank Hensley and family, David Adkins and family, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Slate and the late Cass Baisden, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville with Rev. Leroy Spurlock and Rev. Robert Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill with Military Graveside Rites.
