GLEN ROGERS, W.Va. — Thomas Junior Adkins, 65, of Glen Rogers, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010.
Born June 24, 1945, he was a son of the late James and Ruth Adkins. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Larry and Bobby Ray Adkins.
An avid outdoorsman, Thomas loved to fish, hunt and to be on the water. He also loved to be with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his former wife, Ok Adkins of Glouchester, Va.; son, Thomas (Ericka) Adkins of North Carolina; brothers, James (Edith) Adkins of Alkol and George Adkins of Hurricane; sister, Mary Sue Akers of Shady Spring; grandchildren, Aiden and Avery Adkins of North Carolina; devoted friend, Elaine Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
Per his wishes, his remains will be cremated.
