Leah, "Dee" Dolores Haddock passed away November 18, 2015 at the age of 74, in Webster, Texas. Leah was born on August 26, 1941 in Hoxie, Arkansas. In her early years she lived in Galveston, Texas and attended Ball High School. As an adult, Leah moved to southeast Houston and owned and operated Houston Electrolysis Clinic, which she ran successfully for more than 30 years. She truly loved and thrived in her career and had many beloved clients. Leah is survived by her husband Tim Gabrysch, who lovingly devoted himself to caring for her in the final months of her life. She is also survived by her two sons, Charles and Stephen Gutierrez, who she always referred to as "amazing" and who she adored. The other men in her life with whom she shared much love were her two younger brothers, Dwain Earl Haddock, wife Linda and James Lloyd Haddock, wife, Mary. Leah also had a lovely stepdaughter, Melanie Kreckman and granddaughter Cecile. She will also be greatly missed by her steadfast “bestest” friend, Rona Horton. Leah is also survived by beloved cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James Earl and Dorothy Edna Haddock and her nephew, Ron Haddock, who she loved dearly. While sad in our grief, we would like to celebrate the life of Leah "Dee" Haddock and would like to thank our friends and extended family members for being a part of her life. Leah was an exceptional person who touched many lives with her kind heart and gentle soul. To say she will be missed is the understatement of the century. We love her so much.
Visitation will be held at Rosewood funeral home on Monday, November 23 from 5 to 7 PM. Funeral service will be held on the following day, Tuesday, November 24 at noon, interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
