Dorothy Ainsworth-Boynton, 92, died peacefully on December 10, 2006 following a massive stroke that occurred in early in October. She was born, January 22, 1914 in Oglesby, Illinois to James and Laura Frew. The family eventually moved to Houston and she graduated from San Jacinto High School. In 1935 she married Richard Ainsworth and they settled in Park Place area. Her parents, her devoted husband of 44 yrs. Richard, and husband of 6 yrs. George Boynton, preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Jim and wife Carol Ainsworth, and Larry and wife Melba Ainsworth. Grandchildren, Shelly and husband Alan Bracher, Scott and wife Lisa Ainsworth, Great-Grandchildren, Reid and Hailey Ainsworth, Cody and Caitlyn Bracher, sister, Betty Smith and cousin Wilma Beshoar. Since 1960 she has been an active member of First United Methodist Church, Houston and the Asbury Sunday School Class. Prior to First Methodist, she and Richard attended Park Place Methodist. She was also a member of P.E.O. The Ainsworth family wishes to express our deep appreciation to the entire Holly Hall Retirement Staff, for providing a warm and extremely caring community for our mother almost 16yrs. A memorial service is planned for December 12, at 2pm at the Holly Hall Chapel, with Rev. Scott Endress officiating. A reception will follow in the Pavilion. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials in her memory be donated to Holly Hall Building Fund, 8304 Knight Rd. Houston, Tx. 77054
