MANGHAM LEONARD GREEN, son of A. Mangham and Mary Harrison Green of El Dorado, Arkansas, was born on July 19, 1928. He passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2001, after a short battle with cancer. Mr. Green is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Bettye Moore Green; daughter, Connie Tagliabue; son, George L. Green and wife, Carol; grandchildren, Victoria Tagliabue and Darrel and Jennifer Green; sister, Mary Elizabeth Axum; niece, Madeline Zwikelmaier of St. Louis, Missouri; and nephew, Harrison B. Axum of San Antonio, Texas. He attended the University of Arkansas School of Architecture and served as a radio operator in the Korean War. Mr. Green was a member of the National, Texas, and Houston Chapters of the American Institute of Architects, the Clayton Library Friends, and St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, April 9, 2001 in the Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Directors, 3320 Kirby Drive, with The Rev. Wayland N. Coe officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Clayton Library Friends, P.O. Box 271078, Houston, Texas 77277-1078 or to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Houston.
