John was diagnosed by a family doctor with stomach pains and sent home. A week later while accompanying his sister,Edna for her doctor appt, she became concerned about her brother John's stomach pains and urged by her doctor to get him to the hospital immediately. They later found his appendix ruptured and he died shortly afterwards.
