RITES HELD HERE TUESDAY MORNING; WAS RESIDENT OF MIDLAND FOR 34 YEARS
Frank Bennett, 80, resident of Midland for thirty-four years, and father of Earl W. Bennett, died Sunday morning at his son's home, 714 West Main street. He was born October 20, 1853, at Mt. Morris, New York, and came to Midland in 1900, where he has lived since that time. He lived on a farm east of Midland for some time but during the past few years has made his home with his son and family. Mr. Bennett was a member of the Oddfellow lodge.
He is survived by a son, Mr. Bennett, a daughter, Mrs. E. M. Farr of Detroit, one brother, Horace Bennett of Bladenton, Florida, thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning with Rev. A. C. Barclay of Romeo officiating, assisted by Rev. H. A. Webster, and burial took place in the Midland cemetery. Relatives were pallbearers.
