Ida "Carolyn" Brown of Kemp, Texas, passed peacefully away on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at age 91. Carolyn was born March 4, 1919 to Harry and Ida Kennamer in Memphis, Tennessee. She married her soulmate, John J. Brown and together they made a good life together running their own business. Carolyn is preceded in death y her parents, Harry and Ida Kennamer, her husband, John J. Brown and all her immediate family. Left behind to celebrate her life are many special friends and many nieces and nephews; particularly her nieces Pat Russell of Memphis, Tennessee and Nancy Horton and her husband Walter of Mesquite, Texas , who provided such excellent care and companionship during Carolyn's final years. A time of remembrance will be held at Anderson-Clayton Brothers Funeral Home in Kemp, Texas on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at Kemp Cemetery, Kemp, Texas.
