Arthur Victor Asadourian was born on September 13, 1927, in Los Angeles, CA, and passed on August 11, 2015, from complications of Alzheimer's Dementia.

Victor was the only child of Arthur Kaspar Asadourian of Bitlis, Armenia, and Victoria Aramian Asadourian of Brooklyn, NY. Victor was born and raised in Pasadena and Hollywood, CA. He excelled in school and enjoyed all academic, social activities and especially playing high school football. He was very active in school and college. He graduated from Pasadena Junior College with an Associates of Arts Degree in 1947.

Victor had a strong desire to be an Attorney. He must decide to go to law school or continue on with his parents at the families Knitted Outerwear Factory. Victor Knitting Mills (VKM) which spanned from the 1930's to 1987. Victor retired after 41 years as a Knitter.

Victor also enjoyed buying and selling bare land as Oak Knoll Investments. As Victor was retiring in 1987, the "Beat Goes On", as Vic would fondly say. Another great pleasure had begun in 1985. The Fashion Boutique that Vikki and Keven owned, Jo-Janes...too. Victor was P. R. man and proudly accompanied Vikki to weekly, monthly fashion shows and buying trips.

Vic also loved hosting parties at his home and even had T.V. commercials shot on location at the home for the boutique. Vic always had an enthusiasm for life. He enjoyed doing impersonations, impressions and laughing. We so enjoyed reminiscing about old Hollywood in the 1940's and growing up in Southern California.

He had an eye for detail and many hobbies grew into businesses. One being Jeanne's Antiques & Treasures. He would accomplish all he ever started. His booths at antique malls, Fulton's Folly, Tower Antique Mall and Serendipity Antique Shows were always being lovingly tended to. Always one of the finest booths at the store.

Vic also enjoyed raising cacti, succulents and dish gardens, with son Art. He showed his cacti annually at the Fresno Fair and won an amazing amount of ribbons and best of shows.

He also loved beautiful cars, music and enjoyed playing the piano....though he never took a lesson. After retiring from VKM, Victor went directly to his passion, law, and volunteered at the District Attorney's office in Fresno for two and a half years. Life long friendships include honorary Pallbearers, George Adishian, and Peter Essayan. Victors first two friends upon arriving in Fresno in 1950.

Victor, with Jeanne, the love of his life for 57 and a half years, loved traveling together. Especially cruising the Mediterranean, but had just as much fun going to auctions and antique shops and shows in the western states and New York. Victor enjoyed touching lives and helping those not as fortunate. He was a philanthropist, yet wanted no recognition. He and Jeanne silently helped so many people over the years from California to Armenia.

Clubs Victor enjoyed were the Lions Club and Triple X Fraternity, where he had 50 year perfect attendance. He was also was a member of Nights of Vartan, and on the Board of the Easter Seal Society. He and Jeanne were founding members of The Bank of Madera Co. in Oakhurst, CA.

Being raised as an only child, Victor adored his friends. He was a trusted and loyal friend to many and a trusted business partner for decades with his "Land purchasing group." Victors greatest accomplishment, by far, was the fine care of his precious Jeanne, after her stroke in 2001. He would say "she's my queen." "She's a pleasure to take care of." Their's was a true marriage of love and devotion.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Victoria; wife Jeanne; and son David. Victor is survived by sister, Irene Hein of Wisconsin; his children, Victoria Lowery and husband Keven; son, Arthur and wife Lucie; sisters-in-law, Irene Boyajian and Sandra Stein; niece Jennifer, and her daughter Whitney; nephew, Eric and wife Shannon, and their children, Emily and Nathan; and cousin, John Asder and wife Helen.
