Henry was the son of Edward Allgeier and Frances Eckard. About 1939 he married his first wife, Vivian Ernwine, and they had two children, Doris and James. On 15 Apr 1945 he married Ruth Mook. They would celebrate 62 years of marriage together and they had six children: Richard, Lawrence, Elizabeth, Wayne, Daniel and Timothy. Henry was the owner of Allgeier Flooring and was a carpet installer. He was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Henry died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at Floyd Memorial Hospital at the age of 89.
