REDELIA E.R. ANSON
MURRAY, Utah—Funeral services for Redelia Ethel Riggs Anson were conducted Thursday, May 22 at Millcreek 8th LDS Ward in Salt Lake City.
Interment was in the Manila, Utah Cemetery.
Mrs. Anson, 77, died May 18 in Salt Lake City.
She was born June 3, 1908, in Fort Washakie to John C. and Mary Ellen Large Riggs. She married Rulon B. Anson on July 23, 1926. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 22, 1946.
After their marriage, she and her husband lived in Manila, Utah, until 1942. They then moved to Green River for one year, moved to Salt Lake in 1943, and lived there ever since.
She is survived by five daughters and one son, Gilda Bartlett, Mrs. Frank (Elna) Birch, Mrs. David (Wilma) Stocking, Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Greenberg, Mrs. Ray (Lenor) Gatherum and Erick Kertis Anson; 28 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha Twitchell, Mrs. Francis (Vanona) Barnum and Eva Twitchell.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gordon McReynolds.
