THOMASVILLE Miss Kala Lynn Blevins, 19, a resident of Thomasville, NC passed away on September 6, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Kala was born October 18, 1994 in Davidson County a daughter of Malcolm E. Blevins and Sally Jane Woody. She had made this area her home all of her life and attended East Davidson High School. Surviving are her father, Malcolm E. Blevins and wife Gina Renee Wright of the home; her mother, Sally Jane Woody of Thomasville; son, David William Blevins of the home; maternal grandmother, Connie Bell of Thomasville; brother, Malcolm Allen Blevins of the home; special aunt, Christy Dixon of Thomasville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, September 12, 2014 in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Thomas D. Byrd and Rev. Jimmy Garrett officiating.
