Mr. John Wesley Bell, 51, of Shallow River Drive, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Thomasville Medical Center. He was born on November 29, 1960, in Smith County, Virginia, to Jack Lee Bell and Thelma Shartiz. He was employed with TFI for 15 years and was a maintenance supervisor with Ambassador Court Apartments for 5 years. He was of the Baptist faith. On May 28, 1988, he married Connie Lee Kerley Bell, who survives of the home. Also surviving is his mother, Thelma S. Starnes and husband Carl of Thomasville; his father, Jack Lee Bell of Marion, VA; step-daughters, Christy Parmeter and fiancé Jeffrey Dixon of Trinity, and Sally Woody and fiancé Jonathan Davis of Trinity; three sisters, Mary Barnes of High Point, Anna Gross of Virginia, and Cindy Miller and husband Rex of Trinity; three brothers, Jesse Bell of Virginia, David Bell and wife Kayla of Virginia, and Carl Starnes, Jr. and wife Amy of Trinity; five step-grandchildren, William King, Jr., Henry King, Stephanie King, Kala Blevins, and Allen Blevins; and one step-great-grandson, Jackson King. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, with Rev. Randy Graham officiating.
