Fred Drake, 79, died last Wednesday at the Preble county infirmary following a heart attack. The deceased, a native of Dayton, had worked in Preble County as a farmhand until about eight years ago when he went to the home to live.
He is survived by the widow, five daughters, one son and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Barnes & Sons funeral home. Burial was made in Mound Hill cemetery.
