The funeral will be at 9:30 A. M. from the O'Shea Home, 29-13 Ditmars boulevard, Astoria, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winfield.
Mrs. Hughes died Sunday at her home, 23-28 21st street, Astoria. She was born to the late Thomas and Mary Ann Lennon McCartney in Ayrshire, Scotland. Her first husband, Myles Michael Griffin died in 1923. She had lived in Astoria 20 years.
She is survived by her second husband, Edward, and five daughters from her first marriage, Mrs. Esther Dolan, Mrs. Elizabeth Boyer, Mrs. Mary Ann Danek, Mrs, Genevieve Bala and Mrs. Kathleen Connolly, as well as, step-son, Jack Hughes, foster son, Thomas Finn Hughes and adopted son, Donald Hughes.
