Imogene Pack Adkins (d/o Winnie Henderson Pack & Jamie Lee Lilly}; Only child, a daughter, Donna Jean Adkins of Nimitz;
Three brothers:
1. Luther Adkins of Shelbyville, Ind.,
2. Velmer Adkins of Norton, Ohio,
3. Basil Adkins Jr. of Jumping Branch;
A grandson, Joseph Ross Meadows;
Two granddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah Meadows.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Claron Adkins.
Services at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton, with Elder Richard Hurst officiating. He was a member and deacon of Little Bluestone Primitive Baptist Church and was a 1947 graduate of Hinton High School.
He was a former employee of C&O Railroad and the Atomic Energy Commission of Portsmouth, Ohio, and was retired from Mountaineer Gas in Beckley.
