Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Arnott, widow of Thomas A. Arnott, one of the first veterinarians of Roane county and a grower of breeded live stock, were held at the old homestead near Walnut Grove Friday afternoon. Burial was made in the Walnut Grove cemetery. Mrs. Arnott is survived by the following children: Dr. Ulysses Grant Arnott of Point Pleasant, Rev. Forrest Arnott, John A. Arnott, chief of police. Spencer, and E. S. Arnott, of Walnut Grove with whom Mrs. Elizabeth Arnott resided.
